Help With Earphones

I'm looking at purchasing some in-ear earphones and was hoping I could get some advice from those of you who are educated on this topic.
I was originally going to purchase Headbanger Earsubs, but apparently the company has stopped making this product. I originally had a pair of Skullcandy's, but I'm not sure I want to go that route again.
These aren't for mixing or anything like that, just going to the gym or watching programs on my mp3 player on planes or long car trips. However I want something that's going to get me hyped up at the gym, that's why I wanted the Headbanger Earsubs. I liked that it had it's own amplifier / subwoofer built in.
Any recommendations?
