Snoop had a banging ass track from his No Limit days and I think it is around that time frame that Meech Wells did the beat and it sampled a George Clinton One Nation Under A Groove. Can't think of the name of it but it was on a NL compilation.

Yep...loved that song...Gangsta Move

Don't Be Foolish
Midnight Love
Ride On
Ghetto Millionaire f/ C-Murder, Kurupt, Nate Dogg
Puttin' It Down w/ Bad Azz

I also thought the lead single off his "Game Is To Be Sold" album "Still A G Thang" was a hott song when it came out.

It's a classic, "Da Game Is To Be Told Not To Be Sold" had some others great songs on it too.

can't argue with that ! solid single in deed  8)

1.  "Hooked"-  Off the I Got The Hook Up soundtrack.  That song was fire!!!!!!!  Very under-rated Snoop song.  Produced by Soopafly.

...I'll post some more later... ya'll have any?

Told y'all.  Soopafly is the greatest producer ever.

If i may spit some game....IMO i dont think you can really call this time frame a 'down period' for Snoop cause i truly believe his move to NL with P got his reputation back up as it was slowly dying at DR after Pac was shot.

I mean if yall do some reasearch you will find that Master P told Snoop he wanted him to rap like his old DR days, now most times he did but still he rapped with that smooth voice he still doin today...BUT the albums he released on NL were tight to me back then and if you listen to them now also shit was dope....back then i use to look forward to listening to a Meech beat cause he was doin sum crazy shit i mean tracks like 'Still A G Thang' were tight to me and then Top Dogg was tight with him & Dr Dre getting back together for the first time after DR....so shit was nice back then.....thats my opinion anyway and if you need conformation then bump 'Just Dippin', 'Bitch Please', 'Watcha Gonna Do'................whether you like him or hate him Master P DID HELP SNOOPS CAREER GET BACK ON TRACK & HELPED HIM WITH SOME GAME ON DOIN HIS OWN LABEL BIZ!
