Another year down the drain for the westcoast...or rap?

I am sitting here at work pondering somethings and I have come to except that everything has its time. Just like the Motown era, Disco and Heavy Metal glory days came and went the westcoast rap days in my eyes are over. (They have been over for some time now) Doesnt it seems like rap as a whole has shifted? or is it because everyone is growing up and "New School" rap is just for kids?

Westcoast rap scene is dead? nah in my opinion rap is dead (Not the type of dead nas was talking about either) this shit is about to be disco dead

How long do you guys see Hip-hop/Rap being around? Remember nothing lasts forever. I mean the Motown era was 1000 times better then the Hip Hop Era and that shit died.

music lasts forever, hip-hop should go down and be engraved in music like Rock and such...people for some reason just see this as a trend and not as .... music.....

its fucking disgusting, disco was just a trend, hip-hop was a real musical genre, now its everyday becoming more and more of a fucking trend and its annoying as shyt..

naw man.  Rap game is fukd right now.  i mean if lil wayne and soulja boi kant make money, but alot of dope artists are struggling, what does that say?

there are a bunch of factors to this.  Radio/tv dont give much exposure for alot of artists, yet you kan hear the same bullshit every 30 minutes.

Game is flooded with alot of bullshit.  Remember there were only a few good labels.. now there are like a bunch...

damn hate 2 admitted but it does look pretty bad, but what can be done the people of 2day aint trippin on lyrics. guess its going back to its original form when niggas wasnt rappin bout shit ( rappers delight a hip hop hippy 2 da bang bang boogie) and so on. i try not to hate cuz  those that loved lyrics seem to be the minority theese days. cant force anyone to love what we love 8)
