Jared there are a number of quotes in the book I was reading recently from Lenin in which he is putting himself at a god like plateau. That guy was one evil monster but of course the underlying point of administering a marxist ideology is not to create equality, it's simply to create equal inequality, dressed in equality.

Right, because that's what Marxism is. Worshiping a prophet (Marx) and believing his ideas will bring about Heaven on Earth in the form of communism. And just as there are always many factions of religions (Catholic vs. Protestant, Sunni vs. Shi'a, etc.) who claim that their beliefs are the correct path to Heaven, there are many schools of Marxist thought (orthodox Marxism, Marxist-Leninism, Trotskyism, Maosim, etc.) who claim that their beliefs are the correct path to communism.
