Why would you feel sorry?

They didn't get hardly anything. Most of the catalog is still hidden by Suge Knight.

lol, is that fact or speculation?

i think we all know which.

Do your research and you'll find out which.

A Canadian company bought it. They are rather small time as well. I wonder how they plan on pulling off the financing for what little they will recieve.

They are not a small company

They've released two albums on CDBABY.com. I'd say they are a rather small.

Here's the newsletter that I've recieved from GMG about the situation:

Death Row Records

I know that everyone wants to know the status on the death Row Catalog so I am going to give you THE FACTS, instead of rumors. Read this and dont ask stupid question that you heard on the internet, this is all FACTS!!!

Global Music Group, Koch, Warner Bro, Universal, Evergreen and other interested parties ALL decided to walk away from the catalog because the asset in incomplete and only 1/8 of it has ever been turned in. The sad thing is that this catalog may never be released for all of the fans to hear because of all the legal problems and of course, the fact that it is totally incomplete. All of the above named companies refused to have large sums of money tied up in a legal battle that could last for years to come.

On a good note: Global Music Group has signed a 5 year deal with Universal Fontana and will continue to release great music from great artist for the entire World to enjoy.

In the coming days you will read and hear rumors after rumors but the facts will always remain the same. What is written above is the facts!!!

It really looks like this whole catalogue is incomplete...

I'd laugh if it was found out that Suge has shares or has a part in the company that has bought it  ;D

Na, I know a dude like Suge is chillin' on the low, but I just hate dude's style so I can't say anything positive about him.
