Disc 1 is better IMO, but then disc 2 had Just Another Day, She's Strange and No Matter Where I Go.

They're just as good as anything on disc 1...except for Bag O'Weed. That track is a personal all time favourite.

I got the Death Row version of Vol. 1 and I wonder if they have some OG artwork of Vol. 2 in the vault? I mean, it was also supposed to drop on DR as a separate CD called "G-Funk Classics Vol. 2", am I right? I remember reading about it somewhere...

my favorite record to me the best of all time. really the definition of g-funk but it came too late to have the success it deserves.. "puppy love" is the one i like the less and sorry but both cd's are straight CLASSIC.nate get back real quick!!

i gotta revisit it before i vote

still i cant believe nobody voted for 2 yet. glancing at the tracklisting it has nobody can do it better and a handfull of classic cuts.

Nah, I think Vol 2 was recorder after he leaft Death Row...

Man I used to bump First We Pray so much when it first came out.  Other than Bag O Weed, Just Another Day, and Nobody does it better, I haven't heard this shit in years, but I think I need to give it a listen.  I forgot all about Hardest Man In Town.
