aite does anyone know how the salary works for players
in the main sports

NHL
NBA
NFL
MLB

-How much they get?
-does guranteed really mean that?
-money from their jerseys???

NBA: Money is guaranteed under almost all circumstances. Average salary of a player is $5.5 million. The biggest salaries reach around $25 - $30 million a year.
NFL: Salary is not guaranteed, but signing bonus is. Average salary is $1.5 million. Although players often sign $100 million contracts, the yearly salary starts small and increases ever year (as oppose to averaging out the salary evenly). This allows teams to release or renegotiate a players salary in later years, so they don't have to pay a player too much in any given year.
