Not my work

this website doin big things
http://illuminati2g.webs.com/havikkinterview.htm
I2G chopped game with Havikk of the legendary group South Central Cartel for a interview. We discuss his new mixtape/street album, Rhime Son, what's good with the SCC crew, his upcoming solo album and much more so check it out.
Illuminati 2G is here with Havikk of South Central Cartel, how's it going?
What it do big pimpin? I'm good, just working hard in the lab to get the hit.
What have you been up to since the last South Central Cartel album?
Working on building my own production company "Straight Hangin Em Productions" and working on different projects overseas. That's been my main focus.
Tell me a little bit about your new street CD "The Rhime Son".
"The Rhime Son" is a compilation/mixtape that me and Pete Spray put together. It features a few of my friends and acts that I've been working with. It's not actually my solo album, it just looks like it. A couple of the featured artists on the album is B & J and Christy, that's my pet projects that I'm taking my time with, so I can have the hottest shit possible. "The Rhime Son" limited CD is currently available for purchase at:
www.myspace.com/pspray
for only $9.99.
What made you decide to go the solo route after all this time?
Growth. I wanted to get out there and do me loco. A lot of the South Central Cartel members went their own way and it gave me an opportunity to do me.
Do you have another album in the works after this one and what details can you give about it?
Yes, I do. Right now I'm working on a project with Pete Spray and his production partner Masajada. You will be very pleased with what you hear. Christy has been a big influence bringing concepts and hooks to the table along with Pete Spray concepts. You will not want to turn this CD off, I'm telling you pimpin.
How, if at all, is the recordings process different for you as a solo artist as opposed to doing another South Central Cartel group album?
It's different, because I'm working with a different team and I'm the decision maker on my solo projects. Christy is also a driving force and brings a lot of growth as a writer and singer on my projects.
Speaking of the group, how is everyone doing and is there talks of another album in the future?
Well, the group is doing their own thang, but me and Big Prodeje decided to give our fans a special "Big Havikk and Big Prodeje" album. That will be in the works real soon.
Do you feel the group really gets the just due it deserves after all this time?
No, we never got that, but it is what it is. You can't make people in the game give you shit, feel me? If anything, you have to do you and take your respect.
Quick throwback question: What was it like recording "Gangsta Team", one of the greatest west coast posse cuts of all time?
Joyful. I will some it up like that: Joyful. We got a chance to work with some real legends in the game and it was an honor to do it.
Alright, that is all the questions from me, appreciate the interview. Any last words or shoutouts?
Big shout out to Christy aka J, my boys Pete Spray, Masajada, Bobby, Blokk, Big D, Big Prodeje, our families and my loco homie DJ Pimp. Keep it 100!
