Bosh Replies To Shaq Remarks
March 5, 2009 - 3:04 p.m.

Chris Bosh doesn't think Shaquille O'Neal has what it takes to be a bully.

"You've got to be funny to be a bully," said the Raptors big man.

Bosh was responding to Shaq's comment last week in which he called Bosh "the RuPaul of big men."

RuPaul is America's most famous drag queen.

The remark came after it was put to O'Neal that he had cheated in torching the Raptors for 45 points because he was allowed to spend so much time in the key. Bosh had in fact complained about how long O'Neal spent in the key.

"I expressed that and then it got around that we said he cheated to get 45 points," Bosh said. "I wish I could stay in the lane and get 45 points. Why would I say somebody cheated?"

Bosh said O'Neal's remark disappointed him. "He's been around the league a long time. I expected a lot more, you know, professionalism.

"He's not my friend. I don't really know him. I don't care. I'm not going to get in a war of words. Let's talk about basketball. He's one of the great big men, let's leave it at that."

It was put to Bosh that it seemed odd for a man who had played a silk-clad seven-foot-rapping genie in a 1996 movie to point fingers.

"Kazaam," replied Bosh mockingly. "That's one of my favourite movies."

LMAO KAZZAAM!!!  haha I forgot about this, how can Shaq make fun of Bosh when he did KAZZAAM LOL haha I think Shaq wants everyone to forget about that

he never said he cheated....he said something about the refs not calling 3 seconds and how he thought that was a rule, but I guess not....and then all the reports that came out said something about Bosh saying he "cheated"

still, how ca Shaq throw out the RuPaul call on Bosh when he was dressed up in a purple cape as Kazam in the worst movie ever lol

Shaq = Fat Albert/Kazam of bigmen in the NBA
Bosh = Rupaul of bigmen

that's what i figured; makes more sense that he'd criticize the refs rather than calling Shaq a cheater.
