And most importantly the HR record, Bonds will be HR king for long time.  A-Rod cant handle pressure and I dont think he could ever deal with a milestone like this, not mentally strong enough, remember arods wife laughing about this and saying the guy fainted when his daughter was born, it's been proven that ARod struggles mentally with other peoples perceptions and of course pressure, he's never touching Bonds HR Record. 

Hate him or love him Barry Bonds never gave a shit what anyone else thought about him and the harassment he dealt with on the field during this steroid shit the last few years was harassment that no other professional athlete in this country has dealt with in a long time and Bonds always dealt with all this like a man.  Bonds was able to shake off his dying father and people throwing syringes at him and never lost a step

When it comes to the HR record and ARod people always look at projections and rates but what they dont take into consideration is the mental focus of Barry Bonds at age 43 when he was still able to hit 28 Homers in AT&T park with the whole Country bashing and scrutinizing him, I really don't think Arod or anyone else who ever plays the game will be able to hit 762 Homers again

Bonds 73 was a joke, so were most of the homeruns he hit around '01, before & after.

A-Rod can do it, if he hits 35 HRs steady for 8 years or so, he can pull it off.
