Andrew Bynum: March 30 Return Possible

Mar 4, 6:46 pm EST

Update: The Orange County Register reports that Bynaum (knee) may return to the Lakers’ lineup by March 30.

Recommendation: Coach Phil Jackson said that Bynum will return to help the team in the last month of the season. It appears as if his knee injury is progressing very well.

LOL@injury prone.

Good for him. Hopefully he won't take long to get back into game shape. BTW, who called him injury prone and how does recovering from an INJURY make a case for him NOT being injury prone? lol

1.this news isn't old, it was reported March 4th, and there hasn't been a thread on it til now.
2.getting injured in a freak accident does not make you injury prone.
3.injury prone players have lingering injuries that wont heal in time.
4.bynum did not have any issues with his knees in high school. as a matter of fact, the knee he injured this time around is not the same knee he injured last year.
5.he HAS stayed healthy for a full season, so you can scratch that off the list, as well.

I will believe it when I see it ... that garbage medical staff didn't fool me the 1st time , they wont this time either ...

garbage medical staff? LOL...since when did you become such a hater? Lakers are working with one of the better medical staffs in the league. if our players get injured all the time, how does that fall on the hands of the medical staff? our only major injury we got this year was Farmar, and he returned much sooner than expected...our other major one, Bynum, is on schedule to return weeks ahead of time. we got gary vitti, best in the business, muffucka. no one talks shit on vitti...no one.

Why hater ? The only player who  came back from injury ahead or on schedule these latest 4-5 seasons is Farmar ... injuries for Lakers players seem to take way more time to heal than the usual period required  ... the best example is ankle injuries... for the same type of ankle injrury , in average ,  our players are coming back like 2-3 weeks at least later than the players in others teams ... of course this can be explained by different factors but medical/training staff is sure one of them

While everyone is trying to argue on whether or not he's injury prone, maybe we should all wait for him to ACTUALLY COME BACK before making bold claims.

that's because we've been dealing with fragile ankles, like mihm and kwame...has absolutely nothing to do with the medical staff.

in WCSOLDIERS defense, I read something funny today..

they were taking a callous off Sun Yue's foot and accidently cut his big toe

so while he's down in the D-League he has that to deal with

1. this is old news, i remember hearing this in the times , yahoo, and espn before the 4th
2. the lakers do not have  a bad medical staff. actually it's one of the better ones. i remember when shaq had an abdominal tear injury that WOULD NOT heal and vitti and staff helped him over come that. kobe's been playing at an MVP caliber level with a finger that should be surgically fixed....thanks to vitti and his staff. and not to mention fisher's foot trouble
