Nipsey Hussle to perform at V.I.P. records

Fresh off a 39-city tour with The GAME, rising west coast hip-hop recording artist Nipsey Hussle will return to his home state of California on April 18th in celebration of Record Store Day; stopping in at two independent music retailers to meet fans and perform tracks off of his highly anticipated debut album, South Central State of Mind. The first signee to the Cinematic/Epic Records joint venture, Nipsey Hussle emerged from the streets in Los Angeles and is effectively building momentum as a rising emcee and working on his debut album, due out later this year. Nipsey will be heading over to VIP Records in Long Beach, CA to perform and meet fans in the early afternoon. VIP Records has just recently celebrated it’s 30th anniversary and is known as the store where famed rapper Snoop Dogg filmed one of his first music videos. Later that same day, he will head to his neighborhood to meet fans at one of his favorite local spots on Slauson Ave, VIP Music. “I’ve been going to VIP since I was a kid, it’s a record store that caters to my fans and it’s an honor to be participating in their Record Store Day event. I look forward to seeing all of my fans there.” says Nipsey.
