i am disappointed, but its only opening day (NICE RIP POSADA! JUST HAPPENED! ;D 6-2) & C.C. walked 5, thats pretty bad.

i said he wasnt locating his fastball after 1, so ill give him a second chance in his next start.

i mean it could be worse, we could defending champions & lose our home opener with a 45 year old on the mound & have the heart of our order 3 lefties in a row, that cant hit left handed pitching, but it isnt that bad for us yet. ;) :D

(Nady just hit a double! Cano scored; 6-3! 8))

so given a few off days & times that we face All-Star aces on staffs, we should score 5 runs every game, at least (esspecially when A-Rod comes back).

after that homerun i am; i really thought we had a good chance of winning this game, which i would have laughed about for months & still will if we win, but it will be tough to pull this one out now. :-\

overall (up to this FUCKING homerun), i was pretty impressed with how we played, concidering our ace (who will pitch MUCH better as the season progresses) had a SHIT outing, with no command of his fastball.

we fought hard to come back & cut it to one & if Tex could fucking hit the ball we could be winning this game; but he'll come around.

its going to be a good season. ;) 8)

2 runs off a guy who was 6-17 last year with a 4.78 ERA?

not to even get into the fact if the best pitcher in all of baseball wasnt on the mound i would bet hundreds of dollars they would have scored a lot more...

Tex always has a slow april, i was hoping he would just break out this season, but patience will be KEY with this team.

we get A-Rod back & everyone moves down a spot in the lineup.

that would mean Nady is our 8 batter and he had 97 RBI's last year! :o

show me another 8 batter with 25 homers & 97 RBI's lmao!

i would be impressed if Delgado had 97 RBI's this season LOL.

The Mets don't need to score a lot of runs when Johan Swagtana is on the mound.

so you think the Mets scored two runs & said, "ahhh thats all we need, just relax"?

thats all they could score, for there sake i hope they score more when that MONSTER Pelfrey is on the mound. :D

Pelfrey had a great season last season.  YOu take away his first month an a half dude was a legit number 2.
