um ... actully i was just going to some website .. right clicking the pic i wanted and going it to properties .. copying the URL then putting [img]..url...[/url] saveing it and it still didin't work ..oh and i was putting it in the bit where u tick "i have my own pic" and then theres a box beside it ...

You Don't Add The IMG Tags If Your Putting It As Your Custom Avatar (Under Your Name). Just The Direct Link. I Find If You Right Click On An Image, Then Add To Favourites, Then Go To That Link, Then Paste It Into That Custom Avatar Box - It Should Work Fine.
