i remember learning in 6th or 7th grade about SLICK RICK doing "lodi Dodi" and Biz Markie doing "Vapors" first



lol that pissed me off, i hate cover songs and in rap is applies just as well  (granted i LOVE both those tracks)

I had this discussion with my homeboy last weekend.

Back in the day, Kurupt was KILLING guest appearances with Snoop. Doggystyle, Doggfather, Chronic, etc. Shit even Kurupt when he would collab with 2pac was killing it.

Like Jimmy H said earlier, then the whole beef popped off in the crew, Daz N Snoop did not talk, DPG was still down, Kurupt left, DPG dissed him, etc etc. I will say this and there have not been many Kurupt/Snoop songs together. Everything pretty much that they have done post Last Meal together has been average at best. Cali Iz Active was cool, 31 Flavors ehh, and a few others. I want to hear some Fred Wreck or some Soopafly production and those 2 just go off on a track together like the good ol days.

Kurupts verse on "Lyrical Gangbang" From the chronic and the Verse he did on "Puffin on blunts and drankin Tanqueray" completeley owns any verse from snoop dogg, although i do like snoop dogg aswell kurupt is...or was a better rapper than snoop. I dont really like the new kurupt he used to flow so much better back in the 90's
