Killing a man for performing a legal act of fetal killing is not a strong religious conviction. It is borderline dimentia, rage, or complete ignoorance. I have strong religious convictions. I would never kill an abortion doctor, or protect a murderer that killed an abortion doctor.

Now if this abortion doctor had given my wife an 8 month abortion with out her knowing about it or agreeing to it and because of the laws he could not be convicted with murder, I may not actually go through with killing him myself but if some Christian nut decided to I'd certainly give him a high 5.

I understand what you're saying, Shallow. A belief in God is not responsible for this behavior. It's the manipulation of organized religion that caused this. Organized religion as in people who can brainwash you into doing almost anything if you're in s vulnerable state. They put people to these crazy stunts and somehow justify it in the person's mind.

And I'm surprised you would say this nutcase actually did something possible. It didn't do anything. Someone will come along and take this doctor's place.

It's when I heard that there are only 3 late term abortion clinics left in the whole USA that I figured it may actually affect the number of late terms in the country. I still stand by that. It may also backfire and cause more doctors on the fence to start performing them.

My point regarding it not being religion, was more to imply it's not exclusively religion. It's ideology. Any ideology created will attract those that need to cling to any ideals that happen to be expressed. Whether it's Christianity, Communism, or Environmentalism. The number of actual nuts with in those ideologies depends on the total number of people and in the circumstances of the place they live.
