^ barry didn't take the giants anywhere though. shaq took them to 3 championships in a row, and brought back a legitimate all star to los angeles .

You cant judge Baseball players off of championships, it is different then being a quarterback or point guard. Pitchers can take the bat out of you're hands at any time in Baseball which is so different from other sports. Bonds also led the Giants to the World Series in 2002 while having the most dominating postseason ever and it wasn't his fault that Dusty Baker and the bullpen blew the 5-0 lead in the 7th inning of game 6. There is no denying Shaq's importance though, amazing free agency signing!! I would say these 2 free agents signings have to rank at the top.
