Actually, that's not speculation. Lol. It came straight from Crooked I's mouth. MTV doesn't show music videos. Also, Suge and Death Row were getting the shaft in the 2000's like 50 was after he dropped Ghetto Quaran. No one wanted to touch his shit.
MTV not playing the videos is true. The reason behind it is speculation. As for 50, it wasn't after Ghetto Qua'ran that MTV gave him the so-called "shaft". It was after Columbia dropped him. He had a pretty good buzz during the Columbia run and I can even recall his video for "Life's on the Line" showing up on Sunday Night Heat in 1999-2000. He wasn't getting video play after that because he wasn't on a label. The labels are the ones responsible for pushing the videos and radio singles. If you don't have that kind of support behind you, it's hard to get noticed.

I'm saying in regards to blackballing. Both Suge and 50 weren't played because of certain people in the industry.
