Pedro Martinez vs Randy Johnson
thisoneguy360:
If you're talking about careers then Johnson wins but when Pedro was in his prime he was the best pitcher in baseball.
herpes:
I take Pedro any day of the week over RJ. He had a better ERA and is 2nd all time in adjusted ERA. He has a better career win percentage which is 7th all time. The best WHIP in the monder era by a starter. Per 9 RJ only averaged half a K more than Pedro. He had the two greatest seasons by a pitcher in 99 and 2000 during the steroid era while pitching in the AL and in a hitters park. From 1997-03 is unmatched. RJ has longevity on his side.
Don Jacob:
that's a good question, but i guess overall it'd depend.
