wtf? Of course I listen to hiphop for lyrics..
Now I admit that "God's favorite" was wack lyric-wise, but that's not the CD you play when you try to gain some knowldege, cuz it's a party-cd more or less.

M.O.P. now.. you might say that they don't have a clear message in their rhymes, but their so unique that they don't need to follow no trends or front with a gimmick.
Their just First Fam, Mash Out Posse, and they're the best at it. LoL
You don't mention LiL Fame in the same sentence as Mos Def, Supernatural or Pharoahe Monch, but he's dope at what he do.
Besides MOP & NORE got funny punch-lines, and that gives it a lil touch.

But that's off-topic, why you always gotta mention Nore & M.O.P. in other topics? LoL...

You're right, at least MOP and NORE got their own styles and stuff, but to be honest, Fabolos got some nice punchlines too!  Ya he sucks.......i am not denyong that....

As for always mentioning MOP and NORE, you're right, just giving you a hard time ;)   I agree with you COMPLETELY that you listen to different artists' for different purposes!  Damn, that is what i always tell people when they ass how i can like Puff Daddy and Master P (some stuff), but put on a Del or Ras or Common song right after.  I mean, my favourite artists are Snoop, Nas, Ras, and MAsta Ace, and i don't think any of them are completely similar.  By the way, i always used to listen to MOP before basketball games to get me hyped up........
