Good job on the restoration.  I noticed some vinyl pops on the instrumental....did you use a vinyl rip?  I can get you a lossless CDQ of the instrumental thzt should sound better if you want?  Just lemme know homie

I'm pretty sure the instrumental came from the CD single, and I'm pretty sure those vinyl pops actually come from the sample/instrumentation in the song (iirc). I'll double check that I'm not confused when I have a chance but I feel pretty sure.

You've done an excellent job. have you considered doing the same for Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat and using the Warren G instrumental? Granted it's slightly different but might be a good indicator of what it woud've sounded like in better Q
I tried it. The Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat OG vocals sound horrible when you extract them and I'm european so I couldn't possibly do the whole AI rap thing. But I tried using the retail released version to extract vocals. It's not exactly the same as the OG but it's alright as an indicator like you said.

Why does "Zoom" have the same hook as "Got My Mind Make Up" ???
I don't have a list on hand or anything, but it's actually crazy how much stuff Dre, Snoop and DPG stole from 2Pac. You probably heard the story of DPG getting their hands on an early version of the Thug Life album, which among other things had "Lie 2 Kick It". Then Snoop releases "G'z & Hustlaz". Someone once wrote up a little "essay" about this and there are other examples of lines/lyrics they jacked or repurposed from that first version of the Thug Life album.

And then this song as you already pointed out, though to be fair that song was originally a DPG song and so it's not clear whether 2Pac wrote that hook or DPG had already laid it and Pac just "chimed in".

I think this is sounding pretty sick to be honest man, only needs those gunshots on the chorus and it's basically there!
