Rappers who unfairly complain about their label...

Xzibit before Restless....-  Loud Records promoted the hell out of 40 Dayz 40 Nightz.  His first single was the number one video on BET.  It's not Loud Records fault he couldn't sell.

Alkoholiks and Tash-  Tash's solo LP got mad advertisements, it even got on a next to blow type thing on MTV.  A Buzzworthy type video.  No doubt Loud Records helped him get that spot.  Then the last Alkoholiks album got all kinds of hype, promotion in magazines, expensive video's, they had a big budget to get a Neptunes track.  And it failed because the rhymes were like nursery rhymes.  Now Tash solo album was a great cd, but it's not the label's fault it didn't sell.

Ras Kass- Yo.... That video off his second LP "Ghetto Fabulous" got alot of press because it was similar to the Titanic movie that was popular at the time.  His label paid for alot of big names to be on that album.  And it didn't sell.  But it wasn't his label's fault.  It was because he is a great rhymer, but his character isn't appealing enough to the masses.

^^^^^^^^^Notice a trend.  They are all in the same crew that came up together.  Must run in the family.  There are more artists.

Micheal Jackson
etc.

add to the list
