Spider is not dope at all to me. Mykestro, Ras Kass, and Crooked are my personal favourites. But the truth is that the west coast has a fuckload of dope mc's, and without question tthe best producers. IMO the west coast is and has always been the leaders in terms of quality. The south is pure shit except for UGK, Outkast and Devin the Dude. The problem is that the west coast is going through an industry boycott right now. But if you fucking kids would start to support artists for their quality instead of their sales numbers, we wouldn't have this problem. People are fucking stupid.

I'm pretty sure every region has their dope underground scene. I think that most people on here (like me) aren't up the southern underground scene. I'm sure they have their dope underground rappers as well (Jay Electronica is the shit). But yeah their mainstream rappers are crap.
