Blackalicious Live @ Manchester Review

Blackalicious completly ripped their show last night.

They started with the intro to Blazing Arrow then went straight into Paragraph President which was a good way to start the show. Other tracks they did were Make You Feel That Way, Sky Is Falling, Deception, A2G, Alphabet Aerobics, Rock The Spot, Clockwork and they also did a track from Lateef's & Xcel's upcoming E.P (can't wait to hear the whole thing if it's as dope as the track they played). The highlight's for me were when Gift Of Gab & Lateef did a 5 minute freestyle and the encore of Chemical Calisthenics.

They put on a really dope show, Gift Of Gab ripped the mic, Lateef did a good job as hype man and Xcel was excellent on the turntabels. There definitly worth checking out live if you get the chance.

Yeah, forgot about that one, it's one of my favourites of the album.

It wasn't Uni exclusive it was open to all, the gig wasn't that well promoted though. The show was in  Academy 2 (which is in the Student's Union).
