I remember several years back Mike Dean was talking about releasing a 2pac remix project.  Don't know if this is the same one he was talking about, but I suppose it's possible.

Nah, he was talking about an actual tape of acapellas remixed. Not features added or anything. He did a remix of Hell 4 A Hustla for his tape. This tape is 100% definitely non-existent.

Oh, okay.  Yeah.  I remember that "Hell 4 A Hustla" Remix.  I think he had a preview of it on his website at one time.  I wasn't sure if the full version ever dropped or not.  I remember at one point he said he was going to try to release it through Amaru, but if they weren't interested he was thinking about just giving it out online for free.  I think he referred to it as a Makaveli Remix album, so I wasn't sure exactly what he meant by that-like if all the tracks were going to be Makaveli-Era tracks, or if he was just using Makaveli as a general reference to 2pac.  It's a shame that never dropped.

Its fake. Dean did remix some of the acapellas everyone on the DPGrecordz.com forums hooked him up with.

He was asking everyone to send him any Pac acapellas they had and he would remix them and put them up on the forum.

I guess someone at tupacnation.net is into making up bullshit, they should at least use a better fake tracklisting then the one from '98. Just saying..

100% positive. This tracklisting was created by a fan boy known as Baja Ma Dee who tries conning people into believing he is a Supreme Team (Supreme Mcgriff) affiliate who has music industry knowledge - he is known on some Death Row Forums as Sexy Lexi. Some of the tracks on here may be real, but certainly not with 2Pac such as Finer Things or with the featuring artists. For example, I don't believe there would be a 2 Live In Die In L.A. with Troutman considering 2Pac waited ten hours for Lady Val to drop a hook. I spoke to someone about a few of these tracks, Natasha Walker, because Baja Ma Dee came up with tracklistings like this before and Natasha didn't know SHIT about them. LOL.

Actually, that site was responsible for a lot of legit news back in the day. Playa P always had the Death Row exclusives except that which I believe was proven to be fake, also Baja Ma Dee altered the tracklist of the original fake to make his fake list.
