Yeah I would have liked to see the fight at the school, but it's all good I still enjoyed it.  Also, not sure if this is accurate, but I heard that Dumbledore froze Harry Potter and put the invisible cloak over him so he would be defenseless in Dumbledore's final moments. 

That is true in the book. Not sure why they left this out the movie b.c it would have made the movie more accurate and doesn't take time to do. Not like it was cut out for time shortages. It's somewhat mind boggling to think of why it was left out. It's not realistic that Harry would have stood there and let it happen if he had a choice, something in the film they made it seem like he had.
