« on: July 18, 2009, 08:08:56 PM »
home, Jive Records artist and half of the legendary Atlanta duo Outkast, Big Boi has decided to sever the ties and move on.
The news came after a Thursday phone call from an Atlanta studio, where Big Boi confirmed the leave as he went on to say;
"The lawyers just have to finish their lawyering"
Big Boi explained, also expressing his joy of once again working with Def Jam CEO LA Reid, claiming that "he's been with us from the beginning."
Def Jam will indeed be releasing Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, Big Boi's long awaited (and delayed) solo album.
There has been no release date set for the forthcoming album.
