Joell hasn't spoken much about Free Agent since Rock The Bells started. I know back in March & April he was talking an August release, but this new S.H. album happened unexpectedly along with the summer tour.

Budden also mentioned that Joell is sitting on a ton of records but isn't taking advantage of the S.H. publicity towards his solo material. He used the example of himself, Royce & Crooked dropping EPs (LP in Budden's case) around the time of the S.H. album release for solo buzz purposes. So he made it sound like Ortiz didn't wanna go that route so he continues to just sit on these records until he feels the time is right.

Who knows? All I know is I'm confident that whatever Joell is sitting on, it'll turn out dope. I don't see Free Agent disappointing.

I prefer Joell doesn't abuse Slaughterhouse for what it is.  If you're solo career ain't popping, Slaughterhouse ain't going to fix it.

 Interesting.  Although I can't say that Budden or Crooked have taken full advantage of the Slaughterhouse buzz either, at least not yet.  Perhaps if they're solos still drop
within a relatively close time frame to the group album release.  It's difficult to say if that will really happen though.  Crooked is notorious for album delays and cancellations, and Budden has no idea when Amalgam is going to put his solo release out.
