What do you consider a success? The guy didnt even really have his own sound and then eventually went bankrupt. How about J.R. Rotem?

well hes saying that because storch is the only one who came outta the shell of being one of Dre's "helpers" cause he made big hits but ya hes washed up now kinda stupid though this guy buys a bucatti and a mansion and enough other shit like its only a matter of time before u become bankrupt lol

I think using cocaine for 3 years is a bigger issue than that.

I'd say Mike Elizondo has been more sucessful...just by the producer of the year nomination he got a couple of years ago

Obviously not so much in the hip hop music, isn't he working more with rock & rnb music?

yeah he did fiona apple's album and maroon 5....both pretty good albums if you ask me.  you can hear the dre influence in a lot of the beats

same goes for mark batson.

he's done a full 'dave matthews band' lp and a lot of tracks on 'india arie - acoustic soul', which is a great album.

Dre made better beats with Mel-Man than with anyone else Mark Batson, Mike Elizondo, etc.

I would have to agree, when Mel is on the drums it's always a good beat
