that's paying double of what you could pay, why would anyone do that?
the only thing PS3 has on Xbox is free online & it doesn't break as easily.

i can afford 9 bucks a month compared to dropping 50 straight up. doesn't matter though, i haven't paid for xbox live in over a year

no they're not, the original launch 60GB have loads of problems, they get YLOD and the red flashing light, its the new 80GBs which are fine, trust me i've been through 3 60GBs and know atleast a dozen people who are on atleast their 2nd 60GB, and to make it even more fucked up it now costs £145 to get a refurbished with a 3 month warranty which is bollocks >:(
so i finally came to my senses and got a 360 elite ;D

Been through 3? What did you do to them? lol. The failure rate of YLOD is nothing compared to ROD.
