Yo, I didn't know till the day before that I was going to be going to this march.  I was at a mosque in Sacramento and people were talking about it, and I was like, "hell, I'm only an hour away, let's do it!"  I wish I would've had your number to holler at you though, you would of loved it.  The atmosphere was incredible.  They even had this latino rapper perform this anti-war, anti-imperialism record that was blazing!  They had other speakers, performers you would of really been attracted to.

To hear about these things you got to be connected.  You have to be a part of some organization.  Like, your a Muslim, if you went to the mosque, you would have heard plenty about it.  Or all the human rights organizations, socialist/green, other political parties, etc.  If your not a part of something then you really got to keep your eyes open, because it was written about here and there in the SanFransisco chronicle and other news outlets, but the major media outlets always suppress the message from really getting out there in a big way.
