you know what....i hate benzino but all he's doing is saying his opinion:  he doesn't like royce and joe but is too scared to diss Crooked lmao

btw he also mentions royce's manager wouldn't hook S.H. up with an interview for the source which is probably the ONLY reason why he's mad at them  8)

Royce's manager Kino is married to Kim Osorio. If you know anything about the troubled history between Benzino & Kim Osorio when they both worked at The Source, then it ain't hard to see why he would diss Kino's wife. Royce gets dissed because he's guilty by affiliation.

But I think if you diss Royce, it's one thing. Dissing Slaughterhouse is four people. You're gonna diss four individuals because one of them's managers is married to the former editor of a magazine you used to be a part of?

He said they're overrated. Not really a diss.

Over-rated? How come? They aint exactly mainstream, and haven't even reached gold to achieve a huge awareness status of the public, and are just 4 lyrical MC's who have came together to embrace true lyrical Hip Hop, and deliver it to the public on an independent level, and prior to the group's initial track sessions, each had praise for their lyrical ability, and the only one to really reach commercial status to my knowledge was Joe Budden - with his hit in2003/2004 Pump It Up, and his feature with Christina Milian, apart from that there's no one else. So to say their over-rated would imply that a huge majority are claiming it, but they aren't in the major spotlight besides the internet, and a few magazines lol.....

Benzino just see's Slaughterhouse as a kind of brand up and coming and being accepted, and being respected, and is just trying to capatilize of the hype they have been fortunate enough to create for themselves. He's an attention whore and will go after anyone. I can't see how anyone who claims to respect specific elements in Hip Hop and admire the art-form of it attack those who are trying to create awareness to it...

Bottom line - Ignore this idiot, he's a fag who only hopes he gets a track served to him so people can hear his name again
