Now is the time for the doggystyle all stars to get exposure through mixtapes circuit.Maybe the DS management is handled by somebody that doesn't know nothing about hip hop and promotion.
Good promotion is not a big add on the source or vibe, "you" need to spread the music through different channels (mixtapes,radio shows...)
The mixtapes are the entry level of hip-hop, e-white soopafly and the others would have to be on almost every mixtape....they need to "work the streets"
with tons of freestyles,rap over famous beats and so on...
N.Y. run the business of the mixtapes ?
Its not a problem as long as the music is tight,if u're tight N.Y. dj recognize it.

This is the first step to a massive promotion....from the underground to the source adds.
Mixtapes are really important to promote the albums...

I think its too late... the albums out, they normally do this before the album drops, not after.

To create some buzz for their solo albums....tons of featuirngs in mixtapes from n.y. to cali,this is the best way to get more exposure.
Most of the artists with a "big name" behind them dont give a fuck about these things....as long as they are around snoop with weed,bitches
and moet...they dont care about it.Unfortunately they will cry when their albums flops...
