can someone explain the whole joe torre/yankee situation?

step by step what happened? how they went from bein gs to enemies, books etc....

Torre's contract ran up and the Yanks wanted him gone and letting his contract run up made it easy for the Yanks.  But the fan and media backlash would of been severe so they offered him a contract for one season and much less than the previous season which they knew Torre would reject, which he did.  Torre and much of the fan base saw it as a slap in the face to Torre.  He then signed with the Dodgers to manage and wrote a book about the Yanks which really having to deal with Steinbrenner for all those years who can blame him.  Here's the kicker though, when the Yanks did Torre dirt most of the Yank fans were crying about how Torre should leak the dirty about the team for how they did him.  Torre goes on to write a book and leaks some dirt.  Well the fan base caught wind of this the fans blew a gasket and started to bleed from their vaginas like what happened to Hack.  He still cries about how Torrie ruined his favorite pair of panties.

but the Yankees are going to finish with 100+ wins & most likely win the World Series, so no reason to dwell on the past.

naaa., we got this tho, ethier is a beast, kemp too...kershaw and wolf is a very good 1-2 punch, the rest of the staff is good and our pen is insane.  is it finally   time for a blue world series?
