Damn, I didn't know reading about something you love is a waste of time. Fuck it dogg, let's just burn every book out there in the world unless it's related to your job or career. I'm cool with Tom because unlike other people, he can actually back up his claims. And I've backed up mine, and we've had healthy discussions about baseball. I'm sure if I was a Yankee fan, it would be the same shit. Why? Because I've had good discussions here with SF Giants fans.

people read some books for entertainment, some read books by demand of teacher, some read textbooks & books for knowledge, some read books for a better understanding of something job related.
about .02% of the world reads a book to feel a step above others on a message board & to hold "good discussions" online lol.

You're assuming that Tom reads it for online purposes only. People read things because they love it. I have an interest in politics, so I read books about politics. Right now I wouldn't be in your shoes, because I'm not the cheerleading type of fan that types in caps to express how I feel about my team. And there is nothing wrong with being that way, but that's just not my style. RAH RAH is just not my style.
