1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-c...omes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever
15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Christians have a lot of hated and insecurities about themselves, that's why. They are closed-minded for the most part and if you do not follow the lifestyle they see as fit and appropriate then you are obviously an evil person to them. Yet they tell you to love your neighbor. Just another contradiction among them.Another reason is because many of the "reformed' Christians are alcoholics and drug addicts that do not know they're limit. Then once they finally decide they'd rather stop participating in their vices, or as they say "find Jesus", they think anything other than going to church and praising God is evil. Basically, they replaced one addiction (drugs/alcohol) with another (church). And what better way to denounce your past life of awesomeness than by calling it evil and hating on it until you either die to return to it.Just because some people can handle their lifestyles without going off the deep end does not make it evil, but telling a die-hard Christian that is pointless because they are void of logic.
I love living, I love my friends, my family, hanging out, doing fun things. Well, according to some Christians I had a discussion with on Facebook, I'm a Sinner and I'm prob. going to go to hell. Why you may ask, well they quoted this bible quote to me: Quote1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-c...omes not from the Father but from the world. ...I'm down here with it since the whole thing began! I've nurtured every sensation man has ever been inspired to have! I cared about what he wanted and I never judged him, why? Because I'm a fan of man! ...I'm a humanist. Maybe the last humanist.http://www.youtube.com/v/RGR4SFOimlk&hl=en&fs=1&
