thats bullshit.

people cant have passions in their life?  just cause someone lives and dies with their teams doesnt mean theyre oblivious to whats going on in the world. 

there might be people out there who take it to another level...like wanting to commit suicide if their team looses or something.  ive never met anyone like that and i hope they dont exist.   

but arguing on an internet message board about whos team is better, whos the GOAT, etc, is completely harmless.

My thoughts exactly when i read this, watching sports is a good form of entertainment.
