Here's a quick overview... Suge Knight was criticized for the violence in Tha Row's music, and was asked why he did not act like a role model should -- he responded, "I'm not a role model...no man is. God is a role model." He also touched on the time when he, 'Pac, and Tha Row were being sued for their lyrical content along with Time Warner, and pointed out that he always makes a point of handing out turkeys and toys during the holidays. When asked what children should do when an explicit single hits the radio, he responded, "I created the K-Mart product for things like that" -- a reference to singles like "I Ain't Mad At Cha" and "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted", in which the lyrics were changed. On a side note, I was surprised to hear that a California native who'd been involved in the 'gangsta' lifestyle had not heard of Suge. He seemed to look offended. He also plugged Crooked I and Eastwood. For the most part, he was under a lot of heat -- from the audience, host, and guests. I do, however, give him credit for at least defending rap. I'm surprised this show wasn't promoted on ThaRow.com, seeing as how 3 out of the 4 segments of the program were about Tha Row. tha Row records forum
