Clone Wars season 2; Rise of the bounty hunters

Chad Vader:

--- Quote from: JohnnyL on September 30, 2009, 11:15:19 AM --- Damn.  Props Vader for uppin' the Holiday Special.  I've been waiting forever to see it.
It's so infamous now that Star War fans began referring to it as "The Holy Grail of Crap," because of it's rarity and shitty content.  It's the only piece of Star Wars lore that's so bad that Lucasfilm officially disowned it from being part of Star Wars canon.  (Although, also because Lucas had nothing to do with creating it-it was all 20th Century Fox's idea).

--- End quote ---

You know what,I saw it when it originally aired back in 78.  ;D
So I have fond memories of it.

--- Quote from: JohnnyL on September 30, 2009, 11:15:19 AM ---As far as the 2nd Season of "Clone Wars," I am looking forward to checking it out.
I started watching the first season and found that some of the stories were a little too on the immature side.
But I had read that later in the first season and even more so in the second season, they got some really good writers to pen some of the episodes.
I also like the idea that they're focusing on the bounty hunters in the second season.
That should be cool.
Anyway, thanks again for the "Holiday Special." +1 for the effort.

it started of a little ehhhhh, but shit really picked up when the bounty hunters came into the picture (around midway)....

I keep hearing that from multiple people, so I'm gonna have to give it another shot.  I'm a huge Star Wars fan anyway, so I'll probably buy the full seasons when they put them out on dvd.  I guess they're still talking about doing the live action t.v. series down the line too.  Hopefully that turns out well.

What do you mean?
Pre-Vader or what´s going on between "Revenge Of The Sith" and "A new hope" ?
That´s when the civil war goes down.
I think this one tackles that;

For those of you who have yet to read through your latest edition of Star Wars Insider, Rick McCallum has comfirmed that Boba Fett "will be an instrumental part" of the upcoming live action series per an interview inside...Insider.

In addition, 4 artists are currently working on designs for the series. Two writers from the UK, one from Austrialia and three from the US are on board but a planned meeting in November was postponed due to the writer's strike. Lucasfilm is considering making an intependant deal with the WGA that could get their writers back to work before the strike ends. (Like what David Letterman has done) They're still hoping for a late 2009 premiere.

Well there you have your cliff notes for the Rick McCallum interview from Star Wars Insider #99 with some help from Eric Goldman's post over at IGN. Now go get your copy, read the full interview and enjoy all the Bounty Hunter fun.

I believe Lucas will be forced to throw in Darth Vader in the mix and some point or another.
Both the network (whoever bought it),the fans and even George Lucas
knows that in order to make that Live Action TV show
a success he got to have Darth Vader in it,Boba Fett as a kid wont do it.
I'm sure C3PO and R2D2 will be in it and also
Bail Organa (played by Jimmy Smiths)

will be a major characther in it,why else have him (a known actor) in AOTC and ROTS for a couple of seconds?

Yeah.  I believe it is supposed to take place between "ROTS" and "ANH."  I suppose they could show us what happened to Boba Fett in between "AOTC" and "ESB" (or "ANH if you want to count his appearance in the "Special Edition").  He would be a bit older by then, and probably a bit more interesting than the pre-teen that followed Jango Fett around in "AOTC."  Although, you really couldn't go wrong with throwing some Darth Vader in there either.  Obviously, there probably won't be many (if any) Jedi in it, given the time frame in which it takes place.  Maybe they could have some episodes with the bounty hunters.  Some episodes about Mos Eisly might be cool.  The possibilities for various stories from there are just about endless.

Mos Eisly and bounty hunters should be featured heavily, star wars on some gangster shit.  ;D ;D

But I predict that the central story line is based around Bail Organa,on some political shit.  :P
