I wasn't aware that dre remade the beat for him. I honestly believed that this track was going to be on Rakim's album.

I like everything in this song...nice hook, beat, all three verses are good, even Jigga's, but Rakim did murder him on his own shit.

There is too much of that. Too many wack R&B hooks.
After my first times thru I'm disappointed cause I know that Jigga can come better than this. But I also think that this album will grow on me too.
Overall my FIRST impression: It's a letdown.

^^ Me too, unless Nas has Ja Rule or Irv Gotti all over his album.
I agree with your points Trizz, this board has a strange hatred against Jay Z, but still everybody DL's his music and bumps it on a regular basis. (Except SGV, who downloads Jay Z, burns it on a CD and puts up a bootleg-stand outside his house, then beats up the poor kids who wants to buy it)
