well they don't need to see it but it can definitely make a difference because like i said, people forget and seeing someone born with half a brain or some horrible disease can make your own problems seem pretty damn small.


i mean hell who knows. it could be a constant reminder that we as a human race have still got a lot of work to do.

Well if you ask me, being someone that does believe in god, we were given free will which then accounts for how poverty can set in, i.e. from the actions of those who can take land, restrict access to food etc. Therefore, the second question, when it comes to deformities which have not resulted from perhaps a genetic problem in the mum or dad, or a health problem they have which has been caused by their environment, then chance always place a part. Nothing is flawless, we all have our failures, however in the conception of life, things can happen. As for killing them, no one has the moral authority to deem who should and shouldn't be killed. On what parameters do you judge this? if the person is a complete vegetable then it must be difficult for the parents no doubt, but it's still their child. However by the same token if they are a complete vegetable, then they are not suffering anyway since they will be not have any conscious awareness of their surroundings or themselves anyway. However I am not going to pretend I know all the answers, this is just my opinion.
