Crooked I post death row is better. This shit has nothing to do with Suge nor Death Row, as he got older, his game was just getting better. If we had this Crooked I on Death Row and the younger death row Crooked I on slaughter house, then I'd say he got worse. Basically he just kept working on his game, If his albums get released, you'll see a slight improvement on his lyricism from his original signing to his last death row track.

I agree, although at present time lyrically he's on point, and has really created some hot raps and verses, and has probably developed a bigger appreciation for his newer material due to the fact he's got the opportunity to put more out on a quicker basis than he ever did previously.
Musically though, which is where I agree to you to a point - Crooked I on Death Row was better IMO. I think once people hear Untouchable, and see the huge variety and ability he had (along with assisted producers) to make Hip Hop "songs" rather than just Rap tracks, people may find it hard to decide. I prefer the Death Row, or even the 19th street Crooked I because he wanted to showcase not just his lyrical talent, but his variety of styles and flows as well. So Damm Hood, Niggaz Got Game, G'd Up & Banged Out, and Cold Game showcase all his different styles. He was certainly more colorful on Death Row, but don't take that as any deflation on his current work, because Crooked I overall has been consistent
