Raekwon said it best when asked about Rick Ross... he said that it wasn't so much about him being a correctional officer (as a lot of people in prison end up being cool with some COs, plus it was just a job to keep money coming in), but more about him trying to deny it.

But I'm more concerned about Blood rappers (Game and Jay Rock come to mind) cosigning the people who jumped on the red bandwagon (i.e., Jim Jones, Birdman, Lil Wayne, etc.), that shit is funny to me.

Rick Ross is the 2000 version of Raekwon.  They're both fat fictional story tellers who take their rap personas far too serious.  I enjoy some of their music but think they're pathetic individuals.

I'm also baffled by those that work with Ross.  His production game is dope though so...
