Sup e'rybody...was wondering if anyone has any news on Obie's third album. I know there has been a few tracks that leaked from part of the process but haven't heard much lately.

2nd album didn't get me much but Cheers was sick, so underrated. He got a lot of throwaway dre beats that he ripped. Lots of help from Em as well but didn't see that on 2nd ROund. hopefully Bottom's Up drops soon.

I know Obie wants to make his things but since he dropped from Shady, we don't have many news about him and his new LP (look, even Stat Quo got more news...).

Em was all over the 2nd album beat wise. 2nd Rounds On Me was dope, real dark grimey sound to it!

He didn't bank enough for the investors and they weren't going to put money in his pocket for the 3rd release so they bounced off in different directions.

Imagine if Em never had his drug issues and if Proof never got shot where Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit would be today.

Pretty much same story with all dominating rap lables, just different circumstances...but you're always left asking what if?

Hopefully something surfaces soon he's unique. I'm worried he won't get the production support he once had...i'll give 2nd Rounds on me a second chance and take everyone's word for it now that it's been a while. If you aren't in the right place and you listen to something sometimes it doesn't sound right at the time.

Obie does a lot of shows in Toronto i'll see if there's anything I can find out, i'd love to hear a new album asap
