Unless you got a single playing on commercial radio, you ain't going gold.

Count yourself out then, because to be played on commercial radio requires money!

look up payola. There's a reason you never hear any songs on the radio other than those from major labels. Shit, clear channel is getting sued for this as we speak.

Not the way the music industry is now. The guy is obviously talented enough but he just needs people who will give him the right promotion and the chance. If he was exposed to more people I guarantee a lot of cat's would be saying "Who the fuck is Lil Wayne?" after they heard how hard Crook spits.

Slaughterhouse did like 10k in their first week so a Crook solo will probably sell 10k at best

i don't know if that's true. he's obviously talented enough, but most people don't seem to like hearing challenging and intelligent lyrics, it's hooks that gets sales these days.

but like i said, i definitely agree he's talented enough, and i'd definitely buy any album he puts out

Yeah you got a point Neilfy. The bullshit is sellin nowadays and the good stuff isn't gettin noticed like it should. It seems as though a lot of people have lowered their standards for what they listen to.
