Yup. His jersey sales will skyrocket, especially if he is playing for the Knicks.

i wouldn't be surprised if they do though.

if a major player like LeBron or Kobe says something like, "nobody should wear #23", the league might pass some bullshit like that.

& it's bullshit because a guy like Larry Bird is half a notch down from Jordan.
