Nas says he would kill Eminem in a battle!

<< < (3/10) > >>

DPGC2003:
I'ma Nas fan but he must be smoking some shit if he thinks he could take Em in a battle...Nas ain't no battle rapper but I see where he's coming from...The dude asked him a question so what's Nas supposed to say, that he'd lose?...

Murrow:
That "Using only 1% of his 10%" is an excuse.  Why don't he use it then!  What is he waiting for...an apocalypse?!

Stillmatic has been discussed enough already, and even the biggest Nas-fans now admit that it was just above average. (Except Hellrazor LoL)

You can add me to that list.  Stillmatic was a hell of a lot high than average.  It's got battle rhymes (Ether, Destory & Rebuild), concept records (One Mic), storytelling (Rewind), politics (My Country), he drops knowledge (What Goes Around) & just straight dope hip-hop records (You're A Man, 2nd Childhood...)  This album has enough soon-to-be classics.  The only record people seem to put down is "Braveheart Party".

I'd also say he's at the top of his game after dropping this album, beating Jay in the battle, his remix EP and the near flawless Lost Tapes.  Plus TOP-NOTCH guest apperances with Scarface, Devin, Large Pro, AZ...

--- Quote from: Jome on November 16, 2002, 10:17:39 PM ---* Why did he say "No thank you" when Jay Z called him out for a pay per view battle? Because he wouldn't emberras his "homie" Jigga?
--- End quote ---

After Jay dropped "Superugly" Nas was on Rap City and he said it was over.  He basically said that it was a bullshit record and he won the battle.  He didn't need to respond or continue the beef.

Why should he give Jay a chance he redeem himself?

teecee:
Em would rip Nas in a freestyle battle no problem, and this is coming from a huge Nas fan.

HOWEVER.......NAS DID hurt Jays career with Ether, as Jay's shit is softer than ever....i think their "battle" helped them at the time, but now it is hurting both of them and they should say fuck it and be cool.

And yo, STILLMATIC is astill a great album, i would say it is at least tied with Blueprint.  Blueprint is much better commercially, while Stillmatic is better real hiphop........to me, its close to a tie.  Both albums were overrated

CharlieBrown:
I know this topic is about Nas but why does everyone think Em can't be beat in a battle? Has anyone heard Search 4 Bobby Fisher (by Evidence of Dilated Peoples) as everyone who's heard it says that Ev kills Em in it and won that battle by a LONG way. By the end of that song Em has two new assholes.
