it wasn't a fuck up, it was on purpose.  u just need 2 buy the real cd or buy some better speakers and you'll hear that it blends perfectly.  Dre was trying to hypnotize muthafuckaz with that shit (like in a trance).  that was the point... dont turn a hoe into a housewife.  pretty creative if u ask me.

like i said buy the REAL album (again if you can't play yours or just have it on mp3 now) or get some new speakers.  The static isn't even that loud.  It's just tha quality of the equipment you're using.

ya, I always wondered about this as well, I've always had the CD or a lossless version so I'm disappointed to say it bothersome cuz it's one of my favorite Dre beats it's even on the Instrumentals Only version as well. I showed this track to my lil bro who engineers for me & he recognized it as a common effect, so maybe Dre did know what he was doin' when he mixed & mastered this shit...
