Nasr..What it says about Nas in the Qur'an...
infinite59:
I have the Ayats from these two Surah's memorized. Muslims try to recite the whole of the Qur'an during the month of Ramadaan and pray at even greater lengths. Rapper Nas says, "See my name in a page of your Qur'an." Maybe some of the Nas fans might want to know what it says in the Qur'an surah's Nas and Nasir. This is the English. Remember that this is only the meaning, because the absolute truth of Allahs words were revealed in Arabic.
***********************************
Nas = Mankind
In the name of Allah.
The most beneficient most merciful.
I seek refuge with the Lord of Mankind.
The King or ruler of Mankind.
The God or judge of Mankind.
From the mischief of the whisperer
who withdraws after his whisper.
The same who whispers into the hearts of men.
Amongst men and amongst jinn.
***************************
Basically the surah Nas is saying that we must seek refuge in Allah from those who try to deter us from the straight path towards rightousness. And it may even be the whispering of our own hearts that tries to deter us.

Surah: Al-Nasir
When comes the help of Allah and victory.
And though dost see the people enter into Allah's religion in crowds.
Celebrate the praises of the Lord.
And pray for his forgiveness.
For he is oft-returning.
In grace and in mercy.
*****************************
The above Surah is prophetic in that it describes the scene that is now currently beggining to take place once again; where all over the world the number of people entering into the fold of Islam is growing at rates of more than 100%!!!!
Assalamulakum.

The city never sleeps, full of villians and creeps
That's where I learned to do my hustle had to scuffle with freaks
I'ma addict for sneakers, twenties of buddah and bitches with beepers
In the streets I can greet ya, about blunts I teach ya
Inhale deep like the words of my breath
I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death
