Don Cartegena was an absolutely amazing album. Maybe it was the guest features or producers or what have you but that album was something else. Off the strength of it, I bought "Jealous Ones Still Envy" and while it was only about half as good, I still think it was a worthwhile purchase. The one that came out after that was maybe two good songs and after that, I stopped checking. But between John Blaze, Triplets, and all those other dope joints, that is just a vicious album.
Didn't know Fat Joe been out for that long.
Joe's first appearance is in 89 (was recorded actually, released in 2007) when Diamond D had a group with some other guy, named Ultimate Force. They released a single, but the album was shelved and DIamond D released it in 2007
Don Cartagena (1998) - now this is by far MY favourite Fat joe album. It's a great and really consistent record, with top notch production provided by Buckwild, Marley Marl, DJ Premier, Younglord, Ski and many more.Big Pun's presence should be noted, he's featurred on a good portion of the tracks, and you can tell he has influenced Joe a lot lyrically on this one.
dude im baning you mother over here in eu. but im not a white, brown, black, yellow etc. im your nightmare
